i couldn't watch the video in its entirety. it has long been my habit to shut out those images that don't reinforce my image in a positive light. when i don't see me, i take it that the message is not for me. i wish more sisters would get there. we could save a lot of money and ourselves that way.

having said that...i can't help but notice that nigerian men seem to have the same issues with colorism/hueism based on the images that their american cousins have. it is truly a sad day when an african woman can't look to africa for her image even. all of it makes me sad.

i also marvel that one can say what they want, white folks have definitely brought their A game. EVERYONE on the planet looks to the world minority it seems, in order for them to decide what is right, beautiful, acceptable, etc.
